Once you enrol for a learnTEFL course, you will receive a confirmation email, confirming your purchase, username, password and instructions on how to access the course and contact your tutor.
We accept payment in all major currencies. Our prices include all taxes. Our US prices are fixed but other currencies may vary from time to time due to the fluctuation in exchange rates.
Payments can be made securely online. We accept Mastercard, Visa Credit/Debit, Maestro and Visa Electron.
We also accept payment via Paypal, Bank Transfer and Western Union.
learnTEFL reserves the right to change any of the prices on the website at any time.
Failure to complete the course
You have 6 months to complete all courses. Your study time begins as soon as you register. If you fail to complete the course within the 6 month period, you may purchase an online extension. The fees are as follows:
You may extend your course more than once and at any point during or after your course has expired. If after the course, your extension will take effect from the date you make the purchase. Please keep in mind that courses are removed from the platform if an extension has not been purchased within 30 days after the course has expired.
Failing the course
Trainees have 3 attempts to pass the test in each module. All tests must be passed to qualify for the final exam. Should you require more attempts these can be purchased online.
In order to successfully pass the learnTEFL course, the trainee will be given 3 attempts to pass the final exam. The pass mark is 70% and if this is not achieved then learnTEFL reserves the right to fail the trainee.
In the event the trainee does not successfully pass the course, he/she has the right to request a written answer on the reasons for such failure. The trainee will receive a written response informing why the course was not successfully passed within 10 working days of receiving his/her formal request.
Refunds are not available in the case the final test is not successfully passed by the trainee.
We recommend that all trainees, native or non-native speakers, refer to the Common European Framework (CEFR) in order to confirm that he or she possess a B2* level or above before enrolling into the learnTEFL course.
In the case that during the course the tutor feels that the trainee does not meet the minimum English Language Ability requirement he/she reserves the right to fail the trainee without the right to request a refund.
You can email your tutor via the online messaging service in the training platform at any time. Tutors are not available by phone. For general enquiries your tutor will respond within 2 business days and for assignments you will receive feedback within 3 business days. Your final result will be available to you within 24 hours of completing your course.
Your certificate will be available to download from the training platform within 7 days of completing the course.
Hard copy certificates are available at a cost of USD$29. Certficates are sent on the 15th and the last day of each month.
We cannot be responsible for lost certificates due to postal issues. In this particular case, you may request a new certificate for the same fee of USD$29.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the course you have purchased, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase, as long as no assignments have been submitted. Once your refund has been authorised your details will be removed from the learning platform.
If you have a purchased your course via a 3rd party site such as a daily deal site, course refunds are subject to the stated terms on the 3rd party site at time of purchase and you must apply directly to them for a refund.
To apply for a refund please email email@example.com. A refund is processed within 7 days, less any bank charges or paypal admin charges.

describing the complaint in as much details as possible. We will confirm receipt of the complaint and we will attempt to resolve the complaint promptly.
learnTEFL reserves the right to alter the delivery of courses, subjects or services at any time, including its policies, procedures, fees, rules or regulations, and to discontinue or vary any course, subject or service at any time without notice.
