TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. TEFL courses will equip you with the skills and confidence that you need to teach English as a foreign language around the world.

Requirements

Great news! No formal qualifications are required to enrol for the course. You just need to be a fluent speaker of English and be at least 18 years old when you complete the course.

TEFL is predominately taught in countries where English isn’t the native language. Opportunities commonly exist in schools and language institutes, but you’ll also find opportunities for private tutoring, corporate businesses, volunteering and online learning, which is rapidly growing.

 

The students you will teach come in all ages, from children to adults and at all levels. Programs range from one-to-one classes, small, medium or large groups.
